We are looking for a Journeyman Geospatial Analyst with prior deployment experience for a position that requires up to 6 months of hazardous duty TDYs per year.  TDYs range in length from 2-6 months depending on the client's needs.  Staff are not expected to TDY for more than 6 months per year.  Those with former Army or USMC geospatial analysis expertise are preferred, and must be comfortable with Topology, LIDAR, and BDA.  While a strong GA is the most important qualification, those with additional imagery or FMV experiences are desired as long as they are GAs first.  This position is an immediate fill and we will consider candidates on a first come, first served.


  • Demonstrated MS Word, PowerPoint, database entry and graphic design principles skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA (or some other object oriented programming/scripting language), Oracle and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data.
  • Must have the capability to read and understand intelligence issues, military affairs, and use GIS to develop Geospatial Intelligence reports and products to solve problems.
  • Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image processing, or regional expertise is also desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors.
  • Demonstrated customer support skills.


*Skill Level 2/Journeyman: person who is competent in their trade with typical experience of 3 years or greater but less than 10 years.  This level is considered the full-performance level.  A bachelor degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience.
